About Your Job:
You will be working as part of the IT End‑User Technology team that delivers complete solutions to end users based on their business requirements for hardware and software.
You will be responsible for gathering requirements from business for RFQ/RFP/RFI/RFTs, identifying current and future opportunities by establishing a personal rapport with IT account managers to understand their IT requirements, and reviewing and maintaining the vendor portfolio while assisting the procurement department in sourcing end‑user IT technology.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with different business units to gather detailed requirements and translate operational requirements into a technical bill of quantity by selecting the right product and implementing best practices.
- Prepare documentation related to RFQ/RFP/RFI/RFTs in liaison with QR procurement.
- Coordinate with QR contract team for cost approval, contractual amendments, and procurement of IT assets via e‑sourcing portal.
- Conduct technical evaluation, product comparison, and formal contractual processes.
- Monitor implemented projects through periodic reviews, risk mitigation, progress tracking, and status reporting to management.
- Provide yearly budget forecast based on capital and operational expenditure.
- Assist business units with strategic solutions that achieve business goals.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships for efficient product delivery, support, and services.
- Study market and evolving technologies to align with organizational strategy for cost savings and enhanced user experience.
- Implement/roll out selected technologies and products.
- Manage all procurement for QR‑IT in line with user‑managed procurement policy.
- Track end‑user contracts and initiate renewals/technology refresh.
- Develop and sustain long‑standing relationships with company‑approved vendors.
- Meet with suitable vendors to assess products, inquire about services, and communicate concerns.

About You- Diploma or bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Experience in multi‑million dollar procurement, technical evaluation, preparing business cases, technical evaluation reports, and tender packages as per organizational templates.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to maintain comprehensive vendor contacts for competitive pricing while following the organization’s code of ethics.
- Expert skill in productivity tools such as MS Excel and PowerPoint; ability to gather and analyze data and work with statistics.
- Self‑motivated with strong communication skills to engage technical and non‑technical personnel including senior management; strong attention to detail.
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science or related field with a minimum of 4 years of experience in end‑user IT technology procurement.
