Senior Middleware Administrator

Middleware Administrator (Web Sphere Application Server HCL Portal IBM BPM Data Power & Open Shift).

• Installation Configuration and Administration of Web Sphere Application Server (V9.x) HCL Portal (V9.0.x) WCM (V9.0.x) Data Power (V10.0.x) and BPM (V8.6.x).
• Troubleshooting WAS HCL Portal Data Power and BPM Issues.
• Installation Configuration Support and Troubleshooting including Process Center
• Process Server & JVM s.
• Hands on Experience on Cluster Setup Upgrade & Migration process.
• Day Day to business support (Deployment Performance tuning Handling Application Server issues).
• Expertise in Web Sphere Portal Server Administration along.
• Familiar with Syndication Subscription mechanism & WCM Administration.
• Experienced in setup Portal Horizontal Cluster & Upgrade/migration of environment from lower version to higher version along with applications.
• Production Support Skills for the IBM Portal Environment
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for HCL Portal Data Power WAS and BPM.
• Knowledge of at least one Webserver like IBM HTTP and its integration with HCL Portal.
• Understanding of Project Management Techniques and Practices.
• Experience in Administration and configuration management tasks
• Good Troubleshooting skills and monitoring activities
• Strong knowledge in DP Firmware Upgrades
• File management DP Extension functions
• Creating Users domains access restrictions
• Responsible for the migration of Services from Sandbox to Dev QA PROD lower environments to higher environments
• Error Handling Logging in Data Power
• Handson Experience in AAA (authentication authorization auditing) and Customization of AAA Policy
• Handson Experience in SSL Proxy configuration and certificate management
• Good knowledge in Administration of Red Hat Open Shift Cluster.
• Familiar with Installation and configuration of Open Shift and its components.
• Familiar with Cloud Pak for integration installation and deploying its capabilities.

• IBM Security directory server (LDAP) V6.x & IBM HTTP Server.
• Good Knowledge in Administration of Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform V4.12.

• 10 years minimum in total and 6 years relevant experience as an admin which includes installations upgrades deployment support and troubleshooting of Middleware products such as WAS HCL Portal BPM and Data Power.
• Bachelors / master s degree in computer science or Equivalent.
• Relevant certifications are preferred.
• Proven skills and experience in the similar role.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to convey complex technical information concisely.
• A high level of motivation in learning new technologies.
• Hard worker self motivated and result driven individual.
