JOB DETAIL
Job Purpose- Support Supply and end user departments providing detailed and in depth specialized SAP MM functional expertise to maintain applications support environment and to check that all requests for support (such as SAP access, workflows, configurations and continuous improvement, reporting) are dealt with according to agreed procedures.
- Key mandate of the role is to provide unified SAP systems and create a sustainable improvement plan for department continuity.
- Project plan and implement several systems improvement projects to meet medium to long term objectives. The projects are conceptualized to make Supply processes more efficient, automated and user friendly.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in all matters related to SAP Materials Management (MM) module for the department.
- Conduct day to day SAP MM related issues on behalf of the department including access issues, configuration issues, new system update requests, Application Access Requests (AAR), IT Change Requests (ITCRs).
- Deliver in-house SAP MM Training Sessions for end user as per training schedule.
- Compile business requirements that need to be embedded in SAP and prepare business documentation adhering to standard procedure.
- Act as the main focal point for IT related matters and liaise with IT department implementing SAP and other IT requirements for Supply department.
- Provide all MM system support required by addressing user queries, supporting issue-resolution, providing requested SAP related information to end users ensuring business continuity.
- Gather and compile data for standard databases, perform analysis and formulates reports following established guidelines and procedures.
- Recommend efficiency improvements to support business performance and consult with supervision to review as per business needs.
- Ensures SAP system processes are carried out timely and supports systems related project implementation.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, Commercial discipline or equivalent.
- Excellent computer literacy must including sound knowledge and experience of working on SAP MM
- Prior of experience of delivering at least 1 full cycle SAP implementation project desirable
- Overall at least 6 years continuous SAP experience in oil and gas or process industry preferred
