Cloud Architect

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures across Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and on-premises HCI environments
.

This role plays a critical part in driving cloud modernization, governance, automation, and security while ensuring alignment with business and technology objectives.

The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise in multi-cloud architecture, virtualization, infrastructure automation, and enterprise-grade cloud operations
.

• Design and implement multi-cloud solutions across Azure and GCP, aligned with performance, scalability, and cost optimization requirements.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain hybrid-cloud environments
  , integrating on-premises data centers with public cloud platforms.
• Design, operate, and optimize HCI platforms
  , including:
• VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX-T
• Nutanix AHV and Nutanix Cloud Management (NCM)
• Lead cloud modernization, migration, and transformation initiatives
  , including legacy workload transitions.
• Provide architectural guidance for VMware-based cloud migrations
  , including:
• Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)
• Design and implement cloud landing zones
  , networking architectures, and identity/security integrations.
• Support VM-based and containerized workloads across multi-cloud environments.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and failover strategies are embedded into all architectures.
• Oversee daily cloud operations, monitoring, performance tuning, and incident response.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, networking, and security in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using:
• Terraform
• ARM Templates
• Bicep
• GCP Deployment Manager
• Establish and enforce cloud governance frameworks
  , standards, and operating models.
• Design and implement cloud security architectures
  , including:
• Identity and access management
• Zero Trust principles
• Compliance and audit readiness
• Ensure adherence to enterprise security, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud architecture with business and technical requirements.
• Produce high-quality architecture diagrams, technical design documents, and solution blueprints
  .
• Maintain documentation for cloud deployments, configuration changes, governance controls, and audit needs.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions
  .
• Present architectural solutions and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Analyze existing environments and recommend improvements for performance, cost efficiency, security, and scalability
  .
• Proactively identify architectural risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across cloud platforms and operational processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and architecting solutions on Microsoft Azure
  .
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 3+ years of experience in cloud virtualization and high-availability architectures
  .
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale hybrid and multi-cloud solutions
  .

• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect
• Cloud Computing Professional (CCP) – Cloud Credential Council (CCC)

• Strong networking expertise, including:
• Routing, subnetting
• VPN, Express Route, Interconnect
• Load balancers and firewalls
• Deep experience with multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures
  .
• Advanced hands-on expertise with VMware and Nutanix HCI platforms
  .
• Strong proficiency in automation and IaC tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, Deployment Manager).
• Solid understanding of cloud security, identity, governance, Zero Trust, and compliance frameworks
  .
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and cloud operations tools
  , such as:
• GCP Operations Suite
• VMware vRealize
• Nutanix Prism
• Excellent documentation, architectural design, and communication skills
  .

• Reliable, secure, and scalable cloud and hybrid architectures in production
• Well-governed environments with strong automation and minimal manual intervention
• Clear, well-documented architectures that are easy to operate and audit
• Trusted technical leadership across cloud and infrastructure initiatives
