Business Analyst

Overview

Requirements Gathering:
Collect and analyze business requirements from various departments to inform IT solutions. Business Process Analysis:
Evaluate and document existing processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Solution Design:
Collaborate with IT teams to design solutions that meet business and regulatory needs. Data Analysis:
Analyze data trends and business reports to support decision-making within the tax authority. Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a liaison between the IT department and other departments, ensuring clear communication of needs and solutions. Documentation:
Prepare detailed documentation of processes, requirements, and solutions for internal use. Testing and Validation:
Support system testing to ensure that IT solutions meet business requirements and function as expected. Compliance:
Ensure that all solutions comply with tax laws and regulations. Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other related tasks as assigned to support organizational goals.

• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies. Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.

• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent documentation skills. Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Experience leading and developing top performing teams.
