The Senior Architecture Advisor (AA) collaborates closely with SAP’s Sales organization and Partner ecosystem to develop account strategies. They connect the customer’s business strategy with relevant solutions by designing future business and solution architectures and creating an enterprise-level transformation roadmap to support the customer’s adoption of Cloud-based architectures. They serve as trusted advisors to help customers achieve their desired SAP-based Enterprise Architecture.
As an Senior Architecture Advisor (AA), your key responsibilities include:
Account Planning & Architecture Management Responsibilities- Evaluate current O&Gcustomer solutions from SAP and identify opportunities for accelerated solution adoption, consumption, and footprint expansion.
- Engage with customers throughout the sales process as an essential member of the SAP account team.
- Lead business and IT architecture definitions to ensure alignment and collaboration among SAP organizations, customers, and partners.
- Facilitate communication between the customer and SAP product development leadership.
- Support demand generation through strategic thought leadership.
- Analyze the customer’s business processes and model using industry reference architecture.
- Assess the customer’s current enterprise landscape and anticipate future needs.
- Promote standard cloud architectures that leverage plug-and-play cloud solutions.
Business & Solution Architecture, Target State, Transformation Roadmap
- Translate business architecture and capability mapping into solution design.
- Ensure the IT feasibility of business capabilities mapped to SAP solution architecture.
- Assist in defining the customer’s cloud transformation roadmap with a focus on business and applications.
- Guide the customer’s cloud/hybrid transformation roadmap emphasizing standard cloud applications and technologies.
- Maintain alignment of the living roadmap with current adoption and solution usage.
- Support governance and adaptation of the living roadmap based on evolving customer needs and SAP solutions.
- Promote solution expansion by demonstrating value and connections to the broader SAP portfolio.
- Extensive experience in software or IT organizations as an IT or Enterprise Architecture Advisor and/or expertise in software solutions in Oil and Gas industry through Solution Management, Sales, Presales, Adoption/Consumption, Consulting, or Business Development, with proven successful outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor representing SAP internally and externally.
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/PaaS models, and Cloud-based commerce and business networks.
- Established professional networks to drive pipeline and revenue growth for SAP.
- Demonstrated success in the relevant industry sector, if applicable.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Proven ability to deliver measurable outcomes in Enterprise Architecture for customers.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is advantageous.
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA or equivalent from an accredited university is preferred. - TOGAF or SAPIEA-10 certifications and experience with Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) tools are additional assets.
