Role Overview
The PMO Analyst will support and oversee venue technology project management, operations, and maintenance activities. This role provides analytical insights, drives process optimization, and facilitates effective communication across technical teams, stakeholders, and external partners. The objective is to enhance project delivery, optimize resource utilization, reduce system and service interruptions, and strengthen risk management and reporting within the Venue Technology function.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Monitoring & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports covering project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, resource utilization, and budget performance.
- Analyze project and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; present insights to stakeholders.
- Monitor system alerts, response times, and corrective actions taken by operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
- Oversee venue technology system health checks, including preventive and corrective maintenance activities and periodic performance testing.
Resource & Financial Management
- Collaborate with project and operations managers to forecast resource requirements and align activity schedules across projects and venues.
- Optimize resource utilization and recommend adjustments to schedules and operational plans.
- Track project progress against payment milestones to ensure alignment with planned cash flow and budgets.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as a central coordination point between project teams, stakeholders, senior management, and external partners.
- Prepare and deliver clear project status updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
- Liaise with third-party vendors and service providers, escalating issues when required to ensure service continuity and performance.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and contractual obligations in coordination with service leads.
Event Operations Coordination
- Coordinate and communicate event technology requirements, timelines, resources, and bump-in/bump-out activities.
- Provide regular, structured updates to stakeholders highlighting progress, risks, issues, and next steps.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication across all teams involved in event technology delivery.
Experience
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT, with strong exposure to project management and technology operations.
- Proven experience in venue technology operations, including building management systems, AV, ELV, or similar environments.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Certifications
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and operational trends.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and IT operations management.
- Ability to operate in high-pressure, event-driven environments.
Language
- Arabic speaking is an advantage
