Key Responsibilities

• Implementation and Configuration

• Configure and deploy Open Text SMAX modules for ITSM and ITAM.
• Customize workflows, service catalogs, and user interfaces per business needs.
• Manage multi-tenant architecture and ensure optimal performance.

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Develop technical documentation, including process flows, architecture diagrams, and configuration guides.

• Integrate SMAX with third-party applications such as monitoring tools, Active Directory, and other IT systems.
• Develop and implement automation using SMAXs codeless capabilities or scripting where required.

• Conduct system testing and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve any issues or bugs.

• Conduct training sessions for administrators and end-users.
• Create user guides and best practice documentation.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of technical experience on Micro Focus SMAX.
• Proven experience managing and operating Micro Focus/Open Text SMAX or similar ITSM platforms.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and ITIL framework.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing SMAX modules, workflows, and user interfaces.
• Experience with system integrations and data migrations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SMAX Administrator Certified is a plus
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, SMAX) are a plus.
