IT Insurance Project Coordinator
This role is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves coordinating tasks, managing project documentation, and facilitating communication between stakeholders, including IT teams, vendors, and business units.
The IT Insurance Project Coordinator plays a key role in identifying potential risks, tracking project progress, and ensuring adherence to organizational and regulatory standards. This position requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with a solid understanding of IT project management principles and tools. The IT Insurance Project Coordinator will be reporting to Health insurance Project Manager.
- Support IT project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure successful implementation.
- Assist in defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.
- Coordinate tasks and resources across multiple IT projects.
- Act as a liaison between project teams, IT departments, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
- Ensure clear communication of project status, risks, and updates.
- Track project progress and ensure adherence to schedules and milestones.
- Identify potential roadblocks and elevate issues to project managers.
- Generate reports on project performance, risks, and budget utilization.
- Maintain project-related documents, including requirements, contracts, andchange requests.
- Assist in managing IT assets, licenses, and procurement related to projects.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks while supporting project teams in resolving technical challenges.
- Ensure adherence to IT governance, security policies, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on project deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT Insurance project coordination or a related role. Insurance related work experience is mandatory.
Understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software developmentlifecycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
