We are looking for Database Administrator Lead with strong expertise in Oracle and SQL Server environments. The role involves managing enterprise databases, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, security, and disaster recovery. The candidate will work closely with infrastructure, application, and development teams to support database operations and maintain reliable and scalable database systems.
Responsibilities:- Manage and administer Oracle and SQL Server databases
- Monitor database performance and perform performance tuning
- Handle database installation, upgrades, patching, migration, and cloning
- Ensure database security, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
- Maintain database high availability and capacity planning
- Administer Oracle technologies such as ORDS, Web Logic, and Oracle Golden Gate
- Manage databases in Oracle Exadata environments and implement security features such as auditing, encryption, and data masking.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) certification preferred
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Oracle/SQL Server Database Administration
- Knowledge of database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
- Experience in data warehousing or large enterprise environments is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Fluent in English;
Arabic will be an added advantage.
