SAP FI-CO and PS Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide SAP FICO subject matter expertise and project implementation support for SAP FICO and Project Systems modules
• Equipped with an experience of at least 4 full SAP Implementations to handle diversified business requirements
• Responsible for Design, Build, Test, Implement and post Go-Live Product Life Cycle phases of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, New General Ledger on SAP ERP platform
• Should be able to assess overall business objectives within one or more process groups and design business processes in such a way that they may be effectively modeled and configured within the SAP environment
• Possesses hands‑on experience in configuring SAP FICO and PS sub‑modules
• Provide business analysis and process redesign expertise in one or more functional areas, particularly in SAP FICO within the enterprise, specifically in the analysis and redesign of SAP functions and processes
• Communicate SAP capabilities within SAP FICO and PS module
• Customize SAP functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design
• Prepare business specifications for RICEF objects
• Formulate and define application scope and objectives and devise or modify procedures to solve business problems
• Develop familiarity with production operations, as well as established priorities and sequences for processes
• Develop business relationships and integrate activities with other IT areas to ensure successful SAP implementation
• Work closely with the SAP project team in configuring and implementing SAP FICO modules correctly
• Work effectively with internal customers, co‑workers and management with a strong commitment to the overall success of a group

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Management Information Systems with an emphasis in a specific functional area of Finance or equivalent work experience
• A minimum 6-8 years of experience as SAP Consultant on the SAP FICO plus PS module
• Should have prior experience in Finance business domain
• Should have experience of at least 4 full SAP Implementations
• Extensive knowledge and experience in SAP FICO and PS modules
• Should be well versed with SAP Reports (standard & custom), ABAP Knowledge and Debugging skills
• Experience interfacing with business partners' financial processes involving third‑party systems
• Experience in integrating SAP FICO and PS with other SAP modules
• Should have exposure to configuring SAP FICO modules and General Ledger (FI-GL), Treasury - Cash Management, Account Receivables (FI-AR), Account Payables (FI-AP), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CO-CCA), Profit Center Accounting (EC-PCA), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Internal Orders and Product Costing
• Should excel in written and verbal communications, with a good strategic insight while handling tactical day‑to‑day tasks
• Should have good inter‑personal skills, strong analytical ability and problem‑solving capabilities
• Proven ability in working across the organization, a self‑starter who can deal with ambiguity, maintains focus, drives to clarity and provides innovative solutions
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and deliver results in a matrix organization
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks to schedule and collaborate across multiple business groups
• Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision
