About the job Application Analyst (Doha, Qatar, Onsite)
We are hiring an Application Analyst to support the client’s Information Systems Department. The role bridges business and technology — gathering requirements, authoring functional specifications, supporting application configuration, and driving user acceptance for application changes and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct business requirement workshops with departmental stakeholders.
- Author functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
- Support application configuration and parameterisation.
- Coordinate UAT cycles — test plan authoring, defect tracking, sign‑off facilitation.
- Develop and deliver end‑user training material and sessions.
- Maintain application configuration documentation and CMDB hygiene.
- Liaise between business users, development teams, and vendors on functional issues.
- Support production application releases and regression testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related.
- 4+ years’ experience in business analysis or application analysis roles.
- Hands‑on with BA tools — MS Visio, BPMN modelling, Jira, Confluence.
- Working knowledge of at least one enterprise application — ERP, EDMS, or CRM.
- Strong written communication, including ability to author bilingual (Arabic/English) documentation.
- ITIL v4 Foundation.
- Native or fluent Arabic AND professional English
- IIBA ECBA / CCBA / CBAP certification.
- Experience with low‑code platforms (Microsoft Power Platform, Out Systems).
- SQL fluency for data analysis.
- Prior experience in Qatar government or public sector.
