Senior Aruba Consultant

Responsibilities

• Working with HPs networking technology mainly Aruba for access switches, wireless and Aruba NAC solution Clearpass.
• Establish the network environment by designing system configurations, directing system installation, defining, documenting and enforcing system standards.
• Configure LAN, WAN and wireless equipment.
• Prepare NIP, NRFU and final project documents.
• Demonstrate VMWare and security knowledge.
• Successfully resolve complex technical issues involving hardware and software for internal or external businesses.
• Respond to service, product, technical, and customer‑relations questions on configuration and repair issues based on customer entitlement.
• Proactively assist internal or external businesses and end‑users in avoiding or reducing problem occurrence.
• Act as a project lead, providing on‑site support to team activities and facilitating information validation and team decision‑making processes.
• Document new issue resolution techniques and add these to the knowledge base.
• Partner with Project Managers to provide SOW, HLD, LLD, and project documentation.
• Partner with Project Managers to sign off projects at the planned time.
• Participate in a 24x7 rota to provide second‑level support for contracted customers.
• Create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical support in the delivery of technology solutions to meet customers’ business needs.
• Prioritize and manage many open cases simultaneously, following diagrams and written instructions to repair faults or set up systems, and update Service Manager cases on time.
• Respond within agreed time limits following customer contracts and complete tasks by applying a hardware replacement, software configuration as required.
