Manager – Risk Consulting – Digital Risk

We help clients across the MENA region to identify and manage digital risk, leveraging technology to deliver trustworthy solutions.

The opportunity

EY is recruiting Managers to join our Technology Risk team at various offices across MENA. This role involves serving clients as part of teams located throughout the region, with significant travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist EY partners and executives in managing key aspects of client engagements at a tactical level.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients, proactively identifying opportunities to showcase EY’s Digital Risk and broader consulting capabilities.
  • Participate in business development activities, including account planning, pipeline development, and market scanning to identify new project opportunities.
  • Lead or support the preparation, coordination, and submission of proposals, RFPs, and tenders, ensuring high‑quality and competitive submissions aligned with client needs.
  • Act as an account manager for designated clients, ensuring ongoing engagement, upselling opportunities, and high client satisfaction.
  • Engage with industry events, forums, and networking platforms to represent EY and identify potential new clients or partnerships.
As a manager
  • Provide excellent customer service, advising on IT risk matters and supporting business development activities across various sectors.
  • Participate in MENA engagements, functioning as a team lead or member, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
  • Assist in client service delivery, participating in all assigned tasks and preparing reports for clients and stakeholders.

  • Comfortable in market‑facing roles with proactive outreach and pipeline‑development habits.
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline; alternatively, a business, accounting, or finance degree with additional IT qualifications.
  • 6‑7 years of relevant experience as an IT risk consultant or IT auditor in a public accounting, professional services, technology, telecom, or financial services firm, or comparable IT/IS consulting roles.
  • Experience in IT risk assessment, digital trust, mobile technology assessments, emerging technologies (robotics, IoT, cloud, blockchain), ERP control validations (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), systems and networking technologies, internal audit or application of data analytics.
  • Fluent Arabic and/or English communication skills at a professional level.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, out‑of‑box thinking.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ideally, you'll also have
  • Certification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIA.
  • Experience in a similar role within an international consulting firm.
  • Operational focus on institutionalizing best practices and processes.
