Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will work closely with our data science team to analyze large volumes of data and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. As a Data Analyst, you should be able to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, develop strategies for data collection and analysis, and generate reports that inform business decisions.

We are especially interested in candidates who can bring their expertise in data analysis from another country.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, interpret and report on large volumes of data from various sources
Utilize statistical techniques to uncover trends and provide actionable insights
Develop models to identify patterns and trends in data sets
Create automated reports with diagrams and charts that can be easily understood by stakeholders
Work with the development team to ensure proper implementation of new systems or changes to existing systems
Ensure accuracy of the results by validating the data before it is used for analysis or reporting

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics or a related field
Proven experience in working with large datasets using statistical software such as R or Python
Knowledge of database design principles and experience using SQL queries
Ability to communicate complex findings into understandable summaries for stakeholders

Preferred Skills

Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is desirable
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms is an advantage
Excellent problem‑solving skills
