An opportunity to join the Qatar Airways Group IT Customer & Digital Platforms team as an AEP Technical Lead. This role combines hands‑on development, architecture leadership, team mentoring, and platform modernization to maximize the value of Adobe Experience Platform and its integrations.
The Technical Lead will drive the implementation and optimization of AEP solutions, ensuring effective data management, audience segmentation, and campaign performance analysis. Working with cross‑functional teams, you will translate business goals into technical solutions that deliver impactful marketing outcomes.
The successful candidate will bring deep AEP expertise and a strong understanding of airline data complexity and customer personalization challenges. You will serve as the team’s technical authority, combining engineering discipline with strategic delivery and acting as a trusted partner to the Technology Delivery Manager.
Responsibilities- Lead AEP data architecture and governance, including XDM schemas, dataset taxonomy, identity stitching, and batch/streaming ingestion.
- Drive technical decisions for Real‑Time Customer Profile, audience segmentation, and DULE governance.
- Define and enforce AEP best practices, coding standards, and deployment patterns.
- Own AEP integration architecture across activation channels, including AJO, Real‑Time CDP, and third‑party airline systems.
- Lead delivery of personalization use cases across web, mobile app, email, and push channels.
- Work with the Architect to implement customer segmentation and audience activation pipelines for real‑time personalization at scale.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics to product ionize ML‑driven propensity models and predictive segments in AEP.
- Oversee AEP integration with the Qatar Airways Customer Data Lake and Unified Customer Profile.
- Ensure the accuracy, latency, and reliability of Real‑Time Customer Profile across the airline Martech ecosystem.
- Lead AEP developers through mentorship, code reviews, and career development.
- Partner with the Technology Delivery Manager to turn roadmap priorities into executable sprints.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, showcases, and retrospectives.
- Manage dependencies, risks, and blockers, escalating and unblocking the team as needed.
- Maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and runbooks, and oversee vendor‑led implementations for architectural compliance and delivery quality.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with Adobe and enterprise architecture standards.
- Prepare solution documentation, standards, design reviews, and blueprints.
- Provide technical leadership and guide key architectural decisions for the platform and supporting technologies.
- Support production operations, issue triage, optimization, and continuous improvement of the CDP platform.
- Act as the primary technical liaison with Adobe for implementations, upgrades, and escalations.
