Senior System Engineer; Development

Role Overview

The role is based in Doha, Qatar. We are seeking an experienced Senior System Engineer (Development) specializing in Data Analytics and Microsoft Power Platform
. The candidate will design, develop, and implement data‑driven solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse, and drive business process optimization to deliver actionable insights.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems
  , or a related field.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications are an added advantage.

• Minimum 8 years of overall experience in software development/data analytics.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience working with:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Dataverse

• Strong expertise in designing user‑friendly and intuitive applications
  .
• Solid understanding of:
  • Data modeling concepts
  • Business process automation
• Proficiency in database design and writing efficient queries.
• Experience with Power Platform licensing models
  , including:
  • Power Apps (per user/per app)
  • Power Automate flows
  • Power BI Pro
  • Dataverse storage
• Ability to recommend cost‑effective licensing strategies and optimize license utilization.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Capability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, SharePoint, and Office 365 is a plus.
• Passion for continuous learning and adoption of emerging technologies.

• Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps to meet organizational needs.
• Build and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to deliver actionable insights.
• Use Dataverse and other data sources to securely store and manage application data.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to:
  • Gather requirements
  • Understand challenges
  • Define success metrics
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and security standards.
• Provide technical documentation
