IT Change Controller - Technology Change Management Support in Doha

We are hiring an IT Change Controller to support the implementation and management of change processes within the Qatar Airways IT department in Doha. The role involves coordinating administrative and operational functions of change management, supporting project teams, and ensuring consistent change delivery through structured methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support IT change management processes in line with department goals
  • Maintain change records, schedules, and meeting agendas for CAB (Change Advisory Board) sessions
  • Assist with impact analysis, change readiness assessments, and stakeholder engagement
  • Prepare change communications, meeting minutes, reports, and documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth adoption of changes across departments
  • Provide input for training, user readiness, and resistance management planning
  • Evaluate and track the success of change activities through measurable outcomes
  • Assist in integrating change strategies into broader project plans
  • Support senior leaders and project teams with change guidance and communication
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in IT support, change coordination, or business analysis
  • Familiarity with structured change methodologies and industry best practices
  • Knowledge of ITIL, ISO 20000 standards, or other service management frameworks preferred
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams
  • Proficiency in tools such as Service Now or Open Text Service Manager is a plus
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, APMG) is desirable
  • Must be flexible to work in shifts if required
