Network Security Architect

Overview

The Network Security Architect will lead the design and evolution of our clients' security posture. This includes transitioning toward Zero Trust architectures, optimizing cloud-edge security, SASE, and ensuring that all network-level controls through the seven OSI layers are integrated, automated, and high‑performing.

• Design and develop robust network security architectures and blueprints for LAN, WAN, VPN, Data Center, and Cloud.
• Demonstrate deep technical knowledge and hands‑on proficiency across a wide range of industry‑leading network security solutions, including NGFW, Edge, Web Security, Email Security, web application security, DDoS Availability, DNS Security, NAC, and NDR.
• Collaborate on complex technical migrations between major security platforms, such as firewall transitions, DNS security upgrades, and CASB implementations, without service disruption.
• Act as the ultimate escalation point and SME for a diverse stack of network security solutions.
• Contribute to the RFP process by drafting technical specifications, evaluating vendor responses, managing Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and ensuring vendor accountability during implementation.
• Develop and enforce network security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging security technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements.

• 10+ years of experience, including significant time in an architect or SME capacity.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional-level vendor certifications (e.g., PCNSE, CCNP Security, or NSE
  7) are mandatory; other certificates such as CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, and SABSA are highly preferred.
• Proven experience in network security architecture design and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies, protocols, and standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
