The Technology Risk Manager will serve EY Member Firms by consulting on IT risk, digital trust, and emerging technologies for clients across multiple industries. This role requires travel across MENA offices and involves cross‑border, cross‑sector engagements.
Responsibilities- Assist EY partners and senior executives in managing key aspects of client engagements at a tactical level.
- Lead or support engagement teams, solve complex issues, and provide consulting and analytical skills.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, senior stakeholders, and internal peers.
- Participate in business development: account planning, pipeline development, market scanning, proposal and RFP preparation, and tendering.
- Act as account manager for designated clients, ensuring ongoing engagement and upselling opportunities.
- Represent EY at industry events, forums, and networking platforms to secure new clients or partnerships.
- Manage client service delivery, support all tasks, and prepare reports for clients and other parties.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- 6‑7 years of relevant experience as an IT risk consultant, IT auditor, or IT‑IS consultant in public accounting, professional services, technology, telecom, or financial services.
- Experience in IT Risk assessment and management, Digital Trust, Mobile Technology assessments, Emerging Technologies (Robotics, IoT, Cloud, Blockchain), ERP control validations (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics), systems and networking technologies, IT/Business process and internal control assessments, internal and external audit integration, data analytics, and/or third‑party reporting.
- Fluent in Arabic and/or English at a professional level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, proactive outreach, and pipeline development habits.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CIA are essential; other relevant credentials are acceptable.
- Experience in a similar role with an international consulting firm and operational focus on best‑practice implementation.
