• Define and deliver a 3 to 5 year Data and AI strategy aligned with MATAR business growth plans.
• Develop a 5 year roadmap and rolling 3 year budgets covering business and IT requirements.
• Ensure compliance of data platforms with approved Data and AI governance models.
• Drive innovation using advanced analytics, machine learning, AI, digital twin, IoT, and computer vision technologies.
• Oversee enterprise data collection, analysis, and interpretation to generate actionable business insights.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, completeness, privacy, and security through robust governance processes.
• Manage outsourced and hosted IT services ensuring SLA compliance, benchmarking, and strategic alignment.
• Collaborate with IT security and data protection teams to embed governance and monitoring controls.
• Ensure scalable, secure, and resilient data architecture and infrastructure.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and integrate data and AI solutions into business operations.
• Oversee monitoring and performance reporting of data and AI solutions and recommend continuous improvements.
• Support development of business cases by providing cost estimates, risk assessments, and technology guidance.
• Establish and manage a consolidated portfolio and work program aligned with business priorities and budgets.
• Engage executive and senior leadership to ensure portfolio delivery meets strategic objectives.
• Lead program governance through steering committees, working groups, and decision forums.
• Ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery of projects, services, and transformation initiatives.
• Drive change management strategies to ensure adoption of data and AI solutions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 20000 IT Service Management and ISO 27001 Information Security frameworks.
• Maintain high system availability and business continuity through effective architecture and design.
• Manage contracts, vendors, and hosted services related to the Data and AI portfolio.
• Lead development of annual and rolling budgets for Data and AI initiatives.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high‑performing Data and AI team aligned with corporate values.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in data management, advanced analytics, and AI solution development.
• Solid understanding of enterprise data analytics, data science, and artificial intelligence.
• Proven experience with data governance best practices.
• Demonstrated innovation using emerging technologies including machine learning and AI.
• Hands‑on exposure to deep learning frameworks such as Tensor Flow and Keras.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
• Proven leadership in systems implementation or development programs.
• Project management certification or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong stakeholder, relationship, and portfolio management skills.
