We have designers. We need a senior designer who is also a UX strategist, someone who studies user behaviour, identifies friction, proposes ideas that move the metric, and only then reaches for Figma. You will own the end-to-end user experience across our products on web (Next.js) and mobile (native iOS / Android) making journeys easier, more delightful, and measurably better at generating leads, views, and conversions.
Whatyou ll do
- Own the end-to-end journey for assigned product areas from landing page through search, listing, detail page, contact lead, payment, and post-sale. Identify every friction point and propose specific fixes.
- Design with data: instrument hypotheses, partner with analytics, A/B test, read funnel drop-offs, iterate. Bring receipts, not opinions.
- Lead-gen mindset: every flow you touch should have a measurable goal (more contacts, higher save rate, higher visit-through rate). Don t just make it pretty make it convert.
- Compete on craft: benchmark against the best regional and global products in your category. Know where they are better and close the gap. Know where you can leap ahead.
- Lift the bar for everyone: design system, component library, accessibility, RTL / Arabic support, mobile-first patterns, content and microcopy guidelines.
- Pair with engineering: hand off Figma specs that engineers can build without ambiguity; review the built result before launch.
- Pitch ideas: each quarter, bring 2–3 user-experience experiments based on observed behaviour, not whim.
- Mentor mid / junior designers on the team.
- 7+ years in product / UX design, with at least 3 of those leading UX direction (not just executing pixels).
- Strong portfolio of shipped, measurable improvements
- User journey mapping at a senior level service blueprints, opportunity maps, behavioural personas grounded in data.
- Bilingual / RTL (Arabic + English) design experience right-to-left layouts and Arabic typography are non-negotiable.
- A/B testing + analytics fluency you can read funnel data, define hypotheses, and tell a story from numbers. Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or similar.
- Marketplace / classifieds / e-commerce experience strongly preferred (listing pages, search and filter UX, ad-creation flows, payment funnels).
- Conversion rate optimisation (CRO) certifications or formal training.
- Worked on a regional Arabic-speaking product before.
- Experience designing for AI-assisted flows (semantic search, recommendations).
