About the Role
This role sits at the heart of Qatar Airways’ digital content ecosystem, shaping how millions of passengers experience entertainment on board and beyond. You will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of digital and media content across inflight entertainment (IFE), OTT, and digital platforms—ensuring the right content is available, accurate, and delivered seamlessly at every touchpoint.
Working closely with creative teams, global content partners, and technology vendors, you will orchestrate content ingest, metadata, scheduling, and distribution with precision and care. Your work will directly elevate the passenger experience while supporting commercial growth and monetization initiatives. As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
Manage end‑to‑end content ingest workflows to ensure accurate and reliable content availability across broadcast, OTT, and in‑Flight Entertainment (IFE) platforms, including formatting, validation, and delivery processes.
Oversee content packaging and technical preparation to ensure compatibility with aircraft systems and playback environments, validating assets against defined IFE system requirements.
Oversee publishing workflows to ensure timely content releases aligned with programming strategies by managing scheduling and deployment across IFE, OTT, and related digital platforms.
Act as the primary operational liaison across internal teams, airline stakeholders, CSPs, and vendors to ensure smooth and consistent content delivery.
Drive operational efficiency and scalability by identifying process gaps and implementing structured workflow and system improvements.
Optimize operational systems and processes to improve delivery accuracy, catalogue integrity, publishing effectiveness, and asset handling performance.
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 10+ years of job‑related experience
- Strong knowledge of content operations workflows, including ingest, formatting, QC, and delivery pipelines.
- Experience managing digital content catalogues and metadata systems.
- Proven experience coordinating multiple content vendors, distributors, and service providers.
- Familiarity with media asset management (MAM), digital asset management (DAM), and CMS platforms.
- Managerial skills – Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
- Experience across airline inflight entertainment, OTT/streaming platforms, and digital publishing environments (IFE, mobile apps, web), including collaboration with CSPs and vendors.
- Solid understanding of global media supply chains, content distribution workflows, and multi‑system delivery environments.
- Knowledge of content monetization models, advertising and commercial partnerships, with familiarity in using analytics tools to track content performance and engagement.
