Power BI Developer

Duration and Compensation

6 Month extendable Contract. Salary: QAR 25,000 - 30,000 per month + VISA + Healthcare.

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our client's team in Doha, Qatar, on a 6-month extendable contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Financial Services industry, with strong technical expertise in data visualization, analytics, and dashboard development.

• Design, develop, and implement Power BI dashboards and reports to support monitoring, operations, and decision-making.
• Manage and optimize large datasets, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate operational and analytical needs into actionable visualizations.
• Develop and maintain data models, queries, and calculations using Power Query, DAX, and related tools.
• Integrate data from multiple sources and automate workflows for enhanced reporting efficiency.
• Apply Python for advanced data manipulation, automation, or integration where applicable.
• Ensure that all dashboards and reports adhere to design standards and business requirements.

• Proven experience in Power BI development, including dashboard design, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and Python.
• Solid understanding of data visualization best practices and analytical storytelling.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets in a production environment.
• Prior exposure to Financial Markets, Compliance, or Market Surveillance data is highly advantageous.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written) is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
