Digital Applications Administrator – Qatar
We are currently looking for a Digital Applications Administrator experienced in deploying applications on Red Hat Open Shift for our Qatar operations. The role involves managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting applications and infrastructure to ensure high availability and compliance with security and operational SLAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, patch, and harden applications and operating systems on Red Hat Linux and Open Shift.
- Manage container orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm charts, and Open Shift operators.
- Build and maintain Dev Ops pipelines (Jenkins/Git Lab), implementing CI/CD processes.
- Monitor application performance using Dynatrace, App Dynamics, ELK stack, and other monitoring tools.
- Design and enforce security hardening including HSTS, SSL/TLS, and vulnerability scanning; implement API security policies via IBM ACE, API Connect, and Data Power.
- Integrate and troubleshoot message brokers (Kafka, IBM MQ) and other integration platforms (CP4I, CP4D).
- Configure and monitor data services (Redis cluster, IBM Data Power Multi‑Protocol Gateway, LDAP/AAA, IAM).
- Lead incident handling, performance tuning, and configuration changes across all services.
- Maintain disaster recovery replication and business continuity plans.
- Document audits, compliance, and ITIL processes.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Open Shift administration.
- Experience with Dev Ops tools (Jenkins, Git Lab), shell scripting, and patch management.
- Strong knowledge of application monitoring (Dynatrace, App Dynamics, ELK stack) and API management (IBM ACE, API Connect, Data Power).
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, IBM MQ) and integration patterns.
- Understanding of security hardening (HSTS, SSL/TLS, vulnerability scanners) and API security policies.
- Familiarity with identities and access management (IAM), AAA, and authentication protocols.
- Experience with Redis clustering, failover, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Linux administration and Red Hat support.
Preferred Skills
- Redis cluster persistence, failover, and performance tuning.
- Advanced knowledge of IBM Data Power, Cloud Pak for Integration, and Cloud Pak for Data.
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and replication.
- Experience with API security and gateway management.
