Application Analyst

Role Summary

We are looking for an Application Analyst to support an enterprise client's IT environment under a managed services engagement. The role covers L2 application support, user access management, configuration, vendor coordination, and ensuring application availability within agreed SLAs.

• Handle L2 application support tickets — triage, resolve, or escalated within SLA.
• Manage user provisioning, roles, and access control across enterprise applications.
• Perform application configuration and parameterisation as requested by the business.
• Coordinate with vendors on bugs, patches, and fix-pack deployments.
• Support application release cycles — regression checks, smoke testing, and post-deployment validation.
• Assist in UAT coordination for upgrades — test execution support and defect logging.
• Maintain SOPs, configuration documentation, and knowledge base articles in the ITSM platform.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 4+ years in application support or application operations.
• Hands‑on with at least one enterprise application — ERP, CRM, or EDMS.
• Proficient with ITSM/ticketing platforms (Service Now, Jira, or equivalent).
• Basic SQL for data validation and log querying.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certified.

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform experience.
• Familiarity with EDMS platforms (Open Text, File Net, SharePoint).
• Prior experience in Qatar government or public sector IT.
• PMP or equivalent project coordination certification.
