Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization across Linux environments, identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact users.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Automate routine tasks such as patching, backups, and deployments using scripting languages like Bash or Python to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to enforce security policies and maintain system integrity.
- Must have good experience in Oracle OCI and Linux.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Linux Administrator or Operator in a production environment.
- Proficiency in at least one major Linux distribution (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs) and their application in Linux.
