Job Description
We are currently looking Linux and Open Shift System Admin forour Qatar operations.
Deep hands‑
on experience
- Strong PAM / PIM implementation experience
- SOC‑level understanding of identity attack detection and response
- Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Install, monitor and maintain the main server’s systems and applications for Linux Systems.
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator
- Strong working knowledge of Red Hat Open Shift architecture, deployment models, and day‑2 operations, including containerized application hosting, scaling, and lifecycle management.
- Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), hybrid cloud, and multi‑cloud environments.
- Provide a reliable operating systems environment in order that the applications meet the required service levels.
- Monitor assigned main systems operating systems and application performance sizing and utilization.
- Provide automated and documented scripts for backup and retention of data on external storage within the backup and retention policy of each main system.
- Ensure timely resolution of operating systems and application failures on main systems.
- Posses in depth technical knowledge in operating systems of assigned main servers to provide a convenient platform for systems delivery, understanding the network and systems architecture to resolve any business disruption or inconvenience to the users that may critically impact on the Group.
- Understand assigned systems’ internals, architecture and limitations in deciding on methods of problem solving which may impact overall resource availability and time to deliver changes. Perform careful analysis to ensure congruence with the Group’s long‑term planning and approved strategy.
- Be aware of systems security in application and system software to implement and monitor policy and ensure full protection of software and data from un‑authorised access or disruption of services.
SOC Integration & Detection Engineering
- Work closely with SOC teams on identity‑related threats
- Define and improve identity detection use‑cases
- Integrate identity telemetry with SIEM / SOAR platforms
- Tune alerts to reduce false positives and improve signal quality
- Build and maintain identity incident response playbooks
- Support investigations of compromised accounts and privilege abuse
Hardening, Assessments & Continuous Improvement
- Identify configuration drift, technical debt, and risk exposure
- Deliver remediation plans and track closure
- Drive continuous identity security improvement initiatives
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure identity controls meet internal security standards and regulatory requirements
- Support audit and risk assessments related to identity and access
- Provide evidence, documentation, and technical justifications
- Participate in design and security review boards.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer
- Produce clear, audit‑ready documentation:
- Identity architecture diagrams
- Security standards and configuration baselines
- SOPs and operational runbooks
- Incident response procedures
- Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to internal teams.
