A leading enterprise cybersecurity team is seeking an experienced Security Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Google Sec Ops (Chronicle) to join its operations in Doha, Qatar. This position is designed for cybersecurity professionals with 3-5 years of relevant experience and strong hands-on expertise in Google Sec Ops, SIEM and SOAR engineering, security automation, Python scripting, Google Cloud Platform, and cloud security operations.
The Security Infrastructure Engineer will play a critical role in supporting enterprise cybersecurity infrastructure, developing security automation capabilities, managing SIEM and SOAR technologies, and strengthening threat detection and response processes. Hands-on Google Sec Ops experience is mandatory, and candidates without relevant experience in this technology will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities- Engineer, configure, maintain, and optimize Google Sec Ops environments for enterprise cybersecurity operations.
- Develop and improve SIEM and SOAR capabilities to support security monitoring, threat detection, investigation, and incident response.
- Create security automation workflows to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity operations.
- Develop Python scripts for security automation, data processing, integration, and operational tasks.
- Work with Google Cloud Platform services to support cloud-based security infrastructure and operations.
- Develop and maintain YARA-L detection rules for identifying suspicious activities and potential security threats.
- Use Big Query and SQL for security data analysis, investigation, reporting, and threat hunting.
- Apply Bash scripting to support system administration and security automation activities.
- Manage and analyze cloud logging data to strengthen visibility across enterprise environments.
- Integrate security technologies and data sources with Google Sec Ops and other cybersecurity platforms.
- Support threat detection engineering and continuously improve security monitoring capabilities.
Troubleshoot complex security infrastructure and integration issues. - Collaborate with SOC analysts, security engineers, cloud teams, and other technical stakeholders
- Maintain appropriate technical documentation for security configurations, integrations, automation workflows, and operational procedures.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, security infrastructure, SOC operations, or a related technical field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Sec Ops (Chronicle) is mandatory
. - Proven expertise in SIEM and SOAR engineering and security automation.
- Strong Python scripting capabilities.
- Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on knowledge of YARA-L for security detection engineering.
- Experience using Big Query and SQL for security analytics and investigation.
- Knowledge of Bash scripting and cloud logging technologies.
- Strong understanding of security operations, threat detection, monitoring, and incident response processes.
- Experience with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or IBM QRadar is preferred.
- Strong analytical, technical troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
