We are looking for an experienced Applications Specialist – Systems Operations (SharePoint) to support the stability, availability, and operational performance of enterprise applications and integrated systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise application support, SharePoint, systems operations, application integration, and business requirements analysis
.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for existing enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application incidents, performance issues, and operational problems.
- Support Microsoft Share Point applications, configurations, workflows, and integrations.
- Monitor application performance, availability, and system health.
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and implementing new applications and enhancements.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
- Develop test cases and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Integrate applications with existing systems to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Configure applications according to business requirements and operational standards.
- Coordinate with internal IT teams, business users, software vendors, and consultants.
- Prepare and maintain technical specifications, user manuals, guides, FAQs, and application documentation.
- Develop and deliver end-user training to ensure effective application adoption.
- Support change management, continuous improvement, and application enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure confidentiality and protection of sensitive business and application data.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology
, or a related field. - 4–6 years of experience in enterprise application support, systems operations, or application management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Share Point .
- Knowledge of application development, integration, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java and/or Python
.Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies. - Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering skills.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business users, IT teams, vendors, and consultants.
- Certified Associate in Software Engineering (CASE)
- Agile /
Scrum Master certification - Relevant programming or software development certifications
- Microsoft SharePoint-related certifications are an advantage.
