Work Wavez is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Administrator to manage and optimize enterprise Windows, Linux, cloud, virtualization, and hyperconverged infrastructure environments. This role is critical to ensuring high availability, security, performance, and operational resilience across business-critical IT systems.

As an Infrastructure Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure platforms spanning Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, cloud services, backup solutions, and hyperconverged infrastructure. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure reliable service delivery, system resilience, and compliance with organizational standards. The role requires strong expertise in system administration, automation, disaster recovery, infrastructure security, and performance optimization.

You will also play a key role in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, implementing best practices, and supporting strategic technology initiatives. This position is ideal for a hands‑on infrastructure professional who thrives in mission‑critical enterprise environments.

• Administer and support Windows Server and Linux server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), user administration, and identity services.
• Configure and maintain Windows clustering and failover solutions.
• Install, patch, secure, and optimize Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, and Rocky Linux servers.
• Manage VMware and Nutanix virtualization and hyperconverged infrastructure platforms.
• Support VMware vSAN and Nutanix Prism environments.
• Administer public cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Automate operational tasks using Ansible, Bash, and Power Shell.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, health, and capacity using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve complex infrastructure incidents.
• Implement infrastructure hardening and security controls based on industry best practices and CIS benchmarks.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with security, network, application, and operations teams to ensure service reliability.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure administration.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience supporting both Windows Server and Linux environments.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, clustering, and failover technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Power Shell scripting.
• Experience administering RHEL, CentOS, and Rocky Linux environments.
• Expertise in Linux patch management, security hardening, and performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience with VMware virtualization platforms.
• Experience managing Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) environments.
• Knowledge of VMware vSAN and Nutanix Prism.
• Experience supporting public cloud and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Proficiency in Ansible, Bash, and Power Shell automation.
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, Grafana, Nagios, Solar Winds, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of CIS benchmarks and infrastructure security best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis capabilities.
