ALM Data Systems is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Presales Engineer specializing in Cisco Security solutions to support enterprise and government customers across Qatar. This role combines deep cybersecurity expertise with customer-facing consulting skills, enabling organizations to design, evaluate, and implement modern security architectures that protect critical business environments while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

As a Cybersecurity Presales Engineer, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle, helping customers assess security challenges and develop effective, scalable cybersecurity solutions. Working closely with sales teams, technology partners, and Cisco stakeholders, you will design security architectures, conduct workshops and demonstrations, prepare technical proposals, and support strategic bid responses. The role requires strong expertise across network security, Zero Trust, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), cloud security, and secure access technologies.

You will play a critical role in winning new business opportunities by translating complex security requirements into compelling technical solutions that align with customer objectives and industry best practices.

• Engage with enterprise and government customers to understand business, technical, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Design and develop Cisco Security architectures aligned with customer security strategies and compliance requirements.
• Prepare High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
• Deliver compelling technical presentations, executive briefings, solution demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and pursue cybersecurity opportunities.
• Develop technical proposals, solution documentation, and compliance matrices for RFP and RFQ submissions.
• Provide expert technical consultation and architectural guidance throughout the sales cycle.
• Conduct technical assessments and recommend security modernization strategies.
• Position Cisco security solutions effectively against competing technologies and vendors.
• Collaborate with Cisco, distributors, and strategic technology partners to develop winning solutions.
• Assist customers with technology evaluations, migration planning, and cybersecurity transformation initiatives.
• Support commercial and technical negotiations through solution validation and technical justification.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to business growth by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Cybersecurity Presales, Solutions Engineering, Security Consulting, or Security Architecture roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco Security technologies and platforms.
• Expertise in Cisco Secure Firewall (Next‑Generation Firewall), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
• Knowledge of Cisco Secure Access, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and Security Service Edge (SSE) architectures.
• Experience with Cisco Umbrella, Cisco Duo, Zero Trust frameworks, and identity‑based security solutions.
• Understanding of Cisco Extended Detection and Response (XDR) and modern threat detection capabilities.
