IT Support Engineer- L1 L3
The Resident Engineer shall provide day-to-day IT operational support, infrastructure administration, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, user assistance, and coordination with the organization's IT management and relevant vendors. The engineer will support the organization's end-user computing environment, network infrastructure, Microsoft 365 environment, security systems, servers, backup systems, telephony, and other IT infrastructure. The Resident Engineer will work under the direction and supervision of the organization's designated IT Manager / IT Representative.
Desired Candidate ProfileThe proposed Resident Engineer should have practical experience in:
- Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting;
Microsoft Active Directory. - Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra Microsoft Intune.
- LAN/WAN troubleshooting, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs and switching.
- Aruba network switches and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
- Windows File Server administration.
- Barracuda Backup and Barracuda Web Application Firewall.
- NEC telephone/PBX systems.
- Structured cabling and IT hardware troubleshooting.
Relevant Microsoft, Aruba, Palo Alto, Barracuda, networking or cybersecurity certifications will be considered as a preference.
