Job Description & How to Apply Below

The PMO Reporting & Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining integrated PMO reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions. The role requires strong technical capability in Power BI, data modelling, SQL/Python, and data automation, with the ability to integrate data from project management and ERP systems such as Primavera P6 and SAP.

The position will work closely with on-site project and planning teams to improve data quality, automate reporting processes, and provide accurate, timely insights to support management decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for PMO and management reporting.
  • Build robust data models and reporting structures rather than relying solely on pre-prepared datasets.
  • Extract, transform, and integrate data from Primavera P6, SAP, Excel, and other project systems.
  • Develop automated data pipelines and reporting processes to reduce dependency on manual data collection and consolidation.
  • Utilize SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, validation, automation, and analysis.
  • Establish data validation and quality-control processes to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and reporting delays.
  • Work directly with site and planning teams to understand data challenges and develop structured processes to improve data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting and manual data‑processing activities.
  • Translate complex project and operational data into meaningful management insights, KPIs, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Support PMO leadership with regular performance reports, dashboards, executive presentations, and ad‑hoc analysis.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting across multiple projects, business units, and data sources.
  • Develop standardized reporting templates, data definitions, and reporting methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Planning Engineers, Project Managers, IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable and integrated reporting.
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and take ownership of resolving underlying process or system gaps rather than only escalating delays.
  • Continuously improve PMO reporting processes, data governance, automation, and business intelligence capabilities.
Required Technical Skills
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, data modelling, and dashboard development.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL, data integration, and data visualization.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Practical experience with Python for data processing and automation.
  • Experience integrating data from Primavera P6 and SAP or similar ERP/project management systems.
  • Ability to automate reporting workflows and reduce manual data dependency.
  • Strong understanding of PMO reporting, project performance metrics, KPIs, and management reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large and complex datasets.
PMO & Business Skills
  • Good understanding of PMO processes, project controls, planning, scheduling, cost, progress, and performance reporting.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective reporting and BI solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Ability to identify the root causes of data and reporting challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proactive approach with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in PMO reporting, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Project Controls, or a similar role.
  • Experience working within construction, engineering, infrastructure, energy, or other project‑driven environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience developing end‑to‑end BI solutions, from data extraction and modelling through to dashboard development and management reporting.
