Network Administrator & Dev Ops Engineer | Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, availability, and security, and respond to alerts and incidents.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, packet loss, latency, bandwidth, routing, and switching issues.
• Perform network configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and security hardening.
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco, Palo Alto, Forti Gate
  , or similar networking platforms.
• Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs
  , and other network security solutions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  .
• Manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure with a focus on availability, reliability, scalability, and security
  .
• Administer and scale Kubernetes resources, including pods, services, deployments, and persistent volumes.
• Implement Kubernetes monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible
  , or similar tools.
• Automate configuration management using tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Salt Stack
  .
• Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  .
• Support disaster recovery procedures and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 service availability.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational best practices.

Requirements

• 7–8+ years of relevant experience in Network Engineering, Dev Ops, NOC, or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  .
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
  .
• Hands‑on experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Solar Winds, or PRTG
  .
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Git, and Terraform
  .
• Experience with database technologies such as MS‑SQL, MySQL, and/or MongoDB
  .
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Dev Ops practices
  .
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• CKA and/or Linux certifications are preferred.
• CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or CompTIA Network+ certifications are an advantage.
• Fluent English is required;
  Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer‑service skills.
