IT NOC Specialist – Qatar

QDS is seeking an experienced IT NOC Specialist / Engineer to provide 24/7 monitoring, incident management, and operational support within a critical enterprise IT environment. This role is ideal for IT operations professionals with strong expertise in Microsoft infrastructure, network monitoring, virtualization, and IT service management processes.

As an IT NOC Specialist / Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting mission-critical IT infrastructure, ensuring the availability and performance of servers, networks, applications, and enterprise systems. Working within a 24/7 Network Operations Center environment, you will provide first- and second-line support, manage incidents, coordinate escalations, and ensure compliance with SLA commitments. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise across Microsoft infrastructure technologies, virtualization platforms, networking fundamentals, and monitoring tools.

This role offers an opportunity to work in a high-availability operational environment supporting enterprise-scale systems and services.

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support to end users and business operations.
• Monitor NOC operations within a 24/7 shift-based environment.
• Log, classify, track, and resolve incidents using ITSM platforms.
• Manage and coordinate Sev1 and Sev2 incident escalations.
• Monitor servers, infrastructure, and enterprise network environments.
• Ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical operational issues.
• Maintain and update Configuration Management Database (CMDB) records.
• Perform effective shift handovers and operational reporting.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and enterprise applications.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify operational risks.
• Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ITIL processes.
• Support continuous service improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

• Minimum 3 years of experience within a critical 24/7 IT operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft IIS administration and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including LAN and WAN Technologies, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Experience using enterprise monitoring tools such as SCOM and Live Maps.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience supporting SharePoint environments.
• Strong incident management and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Arabic language proficiency (Mandatory).
• Valid Qatar  (QID) and current residency in Qatar (Mandatory).
• ITIL Foundation Certification (Mandatory).

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience working in managed services or NOC operations centers.
• Knowledge of cloud operations, backup systems, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Experience with IT asset management and CMDB administration.
• Exposure to enterprise service management platforms and automation tools.
