• Develop and maintain the application portfolio, application architecture views, reference architectures and lifecycle roadmaps.
• Assess application fit, health, technical debt, duplication, integration dependencies and alignment to business capabilities.
• Define target-state application architecture, application rationalisation recommendations and transition roadmaps.
• Review solution designs, architecture documents and non-functional requirements for compliance with EA principles and standards.
• Work with solution, data, infrastructure, security and integration teams to ensure coherent end-to-end designs.
• Establish traceability between business capabilities, processes, applications, data entities, interfaces and technology components.
• Support application modernisation, cloud adoption, package selection and migration initiatives with architecture guidance.
• Contribute to architecture governance, design reviews, exceptions management, standards and EA repository quality.

• Experience At least 5 years of relevant experience in application architecture, solution architecture, systems analysis/design, application portfolio management, or a closely related role.
• Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Certification TOGAF certification is required or strongly preferred. Archi Mate, cloud architecture, integration, ITIL, or relevant platform certifications are advantageous.
• Technical Background Experience with enterprise applications, APIs/integrations, application lifecycle management and modernisation is required.
• Required Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of application architecture patterns, API-led integration, service-oriented design and application lifecycle management.
• Practical knowledge of TOGAF and Archi Mate application-layer modelling; ability to create actionable architecture views.
• Experience assessing application portfolios, technical debt, application health, fit-for-purpose and rationalisation opportunities.
• Familiarity with cloud, security, data and integration considerations in enterprise solution design.
• Strong stakeholder-management, analytical, documentation and design-review skills.
