QA Test Engineer – Transact​/T24 Core Banking | QDS

Position Summary

QDS is seeking an experienced QA Test Engineer with strong expertise in Temenos Transact (T24) Core Banking to support end-to-end testing activities across banking technology and digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing testing life cycles, coordinating UAT activities, executing test strategies, and ensuring high-quality delivery of core banking and digital banking solutions.

As a QA Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in validating business and technical requirements for core banking platforms, digital banking applications, and transformation programs. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, technical teams, and end users to ensure applications meet functional, performance, security, and operational requirements. The role requires strong expertise in software testing methodologies, banking domain processes, Transact/T24 modules, test automation, defect management, and stakeholder coordination.

You will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive testing coverage throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) while supporting successful project delivery and production readiness. • Analyze business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, technical specifications, and system designs to define testing requirements.
• Identify test scenarios and ensure complete functional and non-functional test coverage.
• Coordinate business-user reviews and obtain testing approvals.
• Design, establish, validate, and maintain SIT and UAT testing environments.
• Partner with system administration and network teams to ensure testing readiness.
• Ensure SIT execution results are reviewed, approved, and properly documented.
• Design and execute test cases, test scripts, and testing procedures.
• Prepare and manage test data required for testing cycles.
• Coordinate UAT activities with business users and stakeholders.
• Obtain user nominations and facilitate business participation during testing phases.
• Manage execution of User Acceptance Testing and evaluate outcomes.
• Organize and facilitate defect review meetings with stakeholders.
• Manage defects through defect management and issue-tracking processes.
• Maintain testware configuration management and testing documentation.
• Identify and elevate testing risks, issues, and project dependencies.
• Produce testing status reports, progress updates, and test summary reports.
• Support test automation initiatives using approved automation tools.
• Evaluate non-functional requirements including performance, security, usability, reliability, compatibility, and portability.
• Collaborate with PMO, project teams, business units, and technology stakeholders throughout project execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4-5 years of experience in IT, Banking Technology, or Digital Banking environments.
• Minimum 3 years of software testing experience within banking and digital transformation projects.
• Hands‑on experience with Temenos Transact (T24) Core Banking.
• Experience supporting T24 modules including:
• AA (Arrangement Architecture)
• TPH
• TDH
• Strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance principles.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience designing and executing SIT and UAT testing activities.
