IT Transformation Program Manager

Description

• Manage and accountable for delivering assigned programs/projects with a focus on meeting the cost, quality, and customer satisfaction requirements within defined timelines.
• Responsible for all aspects of the projects, including managing the scope, allocating appropriate time and resources, identifying, and mitigating risks, addressing issues pro-actively, ensure to implement change control processes, and also ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Lead and accountable for establishing and maintaining effective governance mechanisms to oversee the programs/projects, ensuring proper tracking, and reporting on their status and progress.
• Ensuring implementation of robust monitoring systems to keep a close eye on the performance of the programs/projects and ensures to provide updates to stakeholders as per defined schedule.
• Proactively manage and influence stakeholders involved in the projects, both internal (team members and respective project management) and external (vendors, and partners). And ensure that expectations within defined scope are met, and any potential issues or conflicts are addressed promptly.
• Managing relationships with external suppliers and vendors, ensuring their alignment with project objectives, and extracting maximum output from their contributions.
• Drive the realization of benefits from the relevant projects by actively identifying and implementing strategies to maximize the value delivered in coordination with department head.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, streamlining processes, and optimizing project outcomes. And navigate complex projects, manage diverse stakeholders, and deliver successful outcomes that align with the organization's strategies and objectives.
• Perform any additional project, task or activities assigned/delegated by the Line Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent master’s degree in technology is an advantage.
• 10 – 15 years of relevant experience in IT transformations with strong technical understanding of the telecom systems, architecture, and solutions, preferably in Telecommunication sector. Including 5 years of Project Management experience with at least 3-5 years of delivering large and complex integrated customer facing systems.
• Experience in partner/vendor management, outsourcing and in-sourcing and exposure to different engagement models with a good understanding of building and managing total cost of ownership for assigned projects.
• Knowledge and in-depth experience in managing IT application development full lifecycle with its different methodologies with an ability to build partnerships and negotiate with third parties to allow effective delivery options across assigned projects
