Workwavez is actively seeking an elite, CCIE LAB Certified Cisco ACI & Data Center Engineer with 5 to 10+ years of professional networking experience to join our client operations in Doha, Qatar on a full-time permanent onsite basis. In this critical data center infrastructure role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, migrating, and troubleshooting mission-critical enterprise data center architectures utilizing Cisco ACI, Nexus switches, and UCS server platforms.
You will leverage your extensive hands-on experience in Leaf-Spine architectures, VXLAN EVPN, and ACI fabric administration to deliver highly resilient and scalable networking environments. This opportunity requires a senior network engineering professional with mandatory CCIE LAB certification and immediate availability for onsite work in Qatar.
Job Description
As a Cisco ACI & Data Center Engineer at Workwavez, you will take full technical ownership of complex data center implementations, ACI fabric migrations, and multi-tenant virtualization integrations in Doha. Your day-to-day responsibilities include configuring Cisco Nexus 9000/7000/5000 switches, managing Cisco UCS B/C-Series servers via UCS Manager and Fabric Interconnects, and designing robust Leaf-Spine topologies with VXLAN EVPN, vPC, OSPF, and BGP.
You will architect ACI Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, End Point Groups (EPGs), Contracts, and L3
Outs while executing firmware upgrades and VMware vCenter integrations. Furthermore, you will lead enterprise infrastructure migration projects, resolve critical escalation incidents, and enforce rigorous data center security and operational standards.
- Design, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise Cisco ACI data center fabrics and software-defined networking architectures.
- Administer and maintain Cisco Nexus 9000, 7000, and 5000 series core switches in high-availability data center environments.
- Configure and manage Cisco UCS B/C-Series blade/rack servers, UCS Manager, and Fabric Interconnects.
- Architect and optimize Leaf-Spine network topologies, VXLAN EVPN fabrics, virtual Port Channels (vPC), OSPF, and BGP routing.
- Implement and govern ACI multi-tenant constructs including Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts, and L3
Out integrations. - Lead complex data center migration projects, legacy-to-ACI transitions, and seamless VMware vCenter integrations.
- Execute proactive firmware upgrades, health checks, performance tuning, and advanced root-cause troubleshooting across data center hardware.
- Provide expert technical leadership and tier-3 escalation support for mission-critical enterprise networking infrastructure in Doha.
- Minimum of 5 to 10+ years of professional networking experience specializing in enterprise and service-provider data center environments.
- Mandatory minimum of 5+ years of hands-on Cisco ACI implementation, policy configuration, and fabric troubleshooting experience.
- Mandatory CCIE LAB Certified professional.
- Strong expertise in Cisco Nexus 9000, 7000, and 5000 series switch architecture and operation.
- Deep hands-on experience with Cisco UCS B/C-Series servers, UCS Manager, and Fabric Interconnects.
- Proven proficiency in Leaf-Spine architectures, VXLAN EVPN, vPC, OSPF, and BGP routing protocols.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ACI Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts, and L3
Out routing. - Mandatory eligibility to work onsite in Doha, Qatar, with a competitive salary package of QAR 17,000–18,000 per month.
- Dual CCIE certifications (e.g., CCIE Data Center or CCIE Routing & Switching).
- Additional vendor certifications such as Cisco ACI specialization or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
- Experience with network automation and orchestration tools using Python, Ansible, or Cisco DCNM/NDFC.
- Prior working experience within large financial institutions, government agencies, or major telecommunications carriers in the GCC region.
- Advanced knowledge of data center security zoning, firewalls, and micro-segmentation.
