OT Network Operations Engineer

Provide operational support for OT network infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure and resilient operation through monitoring, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, controlled changes, configuration management and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities:- Strong hands-on knowledge of Ethernet, routing, VLANs, firewalls and OT networks.
- Configure, monitor and troubleshoot OT switches, routers, firewalls and communication links.
- Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, latency, packet loss and protocol issues.
- Maintain network configurations, topology, IPs, VLANs, firewall rules and backups.
- Implement approved changes, upgrades, security updates and failover testing.
- Support OT segmentation, DMZs, secure remote access and network monitoring.
- Analyse logs, packet captures and performance data for root-cause resolution.
- Coordinate maintenance, commissioning and troubleshooting with stakeholders and vendors.
- Maintain technical documentation, incident/change records and cybersecurity compliance.
- CCNA, CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Networking, Electronics, Computer Science or related discipline.
- CCNA, CCNP or equivalent networking certification preferred.
- 4–6 years’ relevant experience in OT network operations, preferably in oil and gas.
- Experience providing Level 2 OT network support and troubleshooting.
- Experience in network availability, configuration, monitoring, communications recovery and controlled changes.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional coordination.
- Operational discipline and adherence to approved procedures.
- Strong focus on configuration integrity, documentation and continuous improvement.
- Cybersecurity awareness in critical industrial environments.
