OT Network Operations Engineer
We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of OT Network Operations Engineer in Qatar .
We are seeking a technically skilled professional to support the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and security of Operational Technology (OT) networks. The role involves managing industrial network infrastructure, resolving connectivity and performance issues, maintaining network configurations, and supporting secure communication across OT environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain OT network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and operational continuity.
Configure and troubleshoot industrial switches, routers, and firewalls.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, latency, packet loss, and protocol-related issues.
Maintain device configurations, VLAN assignments, routing settings, and firewall rules.
Support OT network segmentation, demilitarized zones (DMZs), and secure remote access.
Analyze network logs, packet captures, and performance indicators to identify faults.
Document network topology, configuration changes, incident resolutions, and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with OT, IT, and security teams to resolve incidents while minimizing disruption to industrial operations.
Required Skills- Maintaining availability and reliability of industrial networks
- Configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure
- Maintaining firewall rules and secure traffic flows
- Supporting logical isolation and OT network security
- Analyzing latency, connectivity, protocols, logs, and packet captures
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certification (explicitly preferred in the requirement).
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP and PROFINET (suggested).
- Experience with Wireshark, network monitoring tools, and OT security architecture (suggested).
