Technical Presales Manager

The Technical Presales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This role involves leading technical presales activities, including understanding customer requirements, designing tailored cybersecurity and technology solutions, and preparing proposals and presentations in collaboration with the sales team. The Technical Presales Manager will conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concept engagements, and technical workshops to showcase ALM’s capabilities in Cybersecurity, Cloud, Infrastructure, AI Security, and ROC solutions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with internal engineering and delivery teams, contributing to solution R&D, supporting bid responses and RFPs, and ensuring smooth handover from presales to implementation. The role also includes mentoring presales team members, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and vendor technologies, and representing ALM’s technical value to customers and partners.
Strong analytical skills to assess customer environments, define requirements, and design effective technical solutions. Proven team management experience, including mentoring, coordinating presales activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Hands-on technical support capabilities, with the ability to manage demos, proof-of-concepts, and solution troubleshooting. Experience in research and development (R&D), with the ability to explore new technologies, and contribute to solution enhancement. Solid project management skills to oversee presales engagements, track deliverables, and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
Background in cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, or AI security; familiarity with ROC, SIEM, or risk management platforms is an advantage. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
