Information Technology Project Manager

We are looking for a technically strong project manager to lead the delivery of fraud monitoring solution in a banking environment.

The ideal candidate will have core experience in implementing and managing fraud solution from contract to go-live, liaising with vendors, technical teams and ensure key stakeholders aligned at all times.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and AML implementations.
• Manage vendors and system integrators to meet contractual and delivery commitments.
• Oversee integration with core banking and surrounding applications.
• Own project governance, risk management, budgets, and stakeholder reporting.
• Keep business and IT requirements aligned across retail, corporate, and digital banking.
• Ensure delivery meets Qatar Central Bank, FATF, and Basel requirements.

• Minimum 8-10 years in IT project management experience, with at least 5 years in fraud monitoring, AML or enterprise financial crime prevention projects within the banking sector.
• Hands-on experience delivering similar upgrade or implementation projects, ideally at a leading bank or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of fraud detection platforms and transaction monitoring systems.
• Familiarity with QCB, FATF, and Basel frameworks.
• PMP, PRINCE 2 or equivalent certification.
• A record of delivering complex large scale IT projects on time and within budget.
• Proven skill with project charters, detailed plans, risk registers, and status reports.
• Solid understanding of banking processes and the technology stack behind them.
• Strong vendor management experience leading third-party providers and integrators.
• Excellent communication skills, equally effective with technical teams and executives.
• Fluent English required;
  Arabic is an advantage.
• Prior GCC/Qatar experience highly preferred.
