Seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to manage enterprise infrastructure in a 24×7 SOC Fusion Center environment. The role focuses on system security, performance optimization, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting mission-critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Installing and configuring Linux operating systems on servers and workstations.
- Setting up system parameters, file systems, and software.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access control.
- Performing routine system updates, patch management, and monitoring system performance.
- Managing system backups and recovery procedures.
- Implementing and maintaining security policies, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Configuring and managing network interfaces, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Installing and configuring Windows Server operating systems, group policies, and file shares.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining VMware virtualization infrastructure.
- Deploying, configuring, and managing Nutanix clusters.
- Setting up Zabbix monitoring for hosts, servers, and network devices.
- Monitoring backup and replication jobs using Veeam.
- Managing backup storage infrastructure, including local and remote repositories.
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in Linux and Windows administration, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure management.
- Experience supporting 24×7 production environment / mission critical systems.
- Experience in Dev Ops Engineering (added advantage).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience. Relevant technical certifications are a plus. RHCE certification is mandatory.
