We are urgently looking for an experienced L3 Network Engineer to support network infrastructure activities in Qatar onsite assignment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in Cisco networking and Fortinet technologies, along with expertise in troubleshooting, network operations, and infrastructure support.
The engineer will work closely with the Central Infrastructure team to coordinate and manage store‑related network activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of technical issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide L3 support for enterprise network infrastructure, including incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco network devices, including routers, switches, and related infrastructure.
- Administer and support Fortinet technologies, including Forti Gate firewalls, security policies, VPNs, and network security configurations.
- Coordinate closely with Central Infrastructure teams to manage, open, modify, and resolve store‑related network requests and activities.
- Support store network installations, modifications, connectivity changes, and operational requirements.
- Perform advanced network troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of escalated incidents.
- Implement network configuration changes in accordance with approved change management procedures.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security to maintain service continuity.
- Prepare technical documentation, incident reports, and change records as required.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful execution of network‑related activities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Cisco networking.
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with Fortinet technologies.
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, subnetting, and network troubleshooting.
- Practical experience with Forti Gate firewall configuration, policy management, VPNs, and security troubleshooting.
- Experience providing L3 support in an enterprise network environment.
- Strong incident management, problem‑solving, and change management skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with central infrastructure and local store teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and support urgent operational requirements in Qatar.
- Technical Focus: Cisco Networking and Fortinet Technologies
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise or equivalent professional‑level networking experience.
- Fortinet NSE certifications or equivalent Fortinet technical expertise.
- Experience supporting retail, multi‑site, or distributed network environments.
