As a Backup Technologies Engineer supporting Linnk Group on an on-site basis in Doha, Qatar, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of backup solution design, pre‑sales technical scoping, deployment implementation, and major incident escalation handling. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include leading complex backup architecture projects as a technical subject matter expert (SME), designing offsite and cloud backup strategies, managing VMware and Windows Server infrastructure, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks utilizing advanced network monitoring tools and Wireshark, collaborating with regional client engineering squads, and interacting directly with recruiters like Anvith G Alva.

• Lead enterprise backup solution projects from conception to completion, acting as the primary technical subject matter expert (SME).
• Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise backup solutions utilizing Dell EMC, Veritas, IBM, or equivalent technologies.
• Manage VMware virtualization environments, Windows Server infrastructure, SAN/NAS storage arrays, and Microsoft core enterprise services.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
