Are you an experienced Data Architect with expertise in enterprise data platforms, data governance, and cloud-based data solutions?
We are looking for a Sr. Data Architect Specialist to define and lead the enterprise data architecture, ensuring data is trusted, governed, integrated, and readily available to support analytics, business intelligence, and AI initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Design and define the target enterprise data architecture, including data platforms, data models, and integration patterns across lakehouse and data warehouse environments.
- Establish enterprise data standards, master data management practices, metadata management frameworks, and data quality rules.
- Align data architecture with SAP, Operational Technology (OT) historian systems, and cloud-based data sources.
- Collaborate with data governance and cybersecurity teams to establish data classification, retention, and access control requirements.
- Review data architecture and solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives.
- Provide technical guidance and architectural direction to data engineering teams.
- Support the development of scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms for analytics and AI.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in data architecture, enterprise data management, or data engineering.
- Certifications: Azure Data Engineer or Microsoft Fabric certification.
- Preferred: TOGAF or Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
- Strong knowledge of enterprise data modelling, data integration, and data architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Microsoft Purview, and SQL.
- Experience integrating and managing SAP data within enterprise data platforms.
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas (O&G) data environments, including PI System / OT historian and ERP data, is preferred.
- Strong analytical, architectural design, and stakeholder management skills.
