Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Loss Adjuster role based in Doha, Qatar. The Loss Adjuster will assess and investigate insurance claims across various lines, including property, liability, engineering, and other technical classes, to determine coverage, quantum, and liability. Responsibilities include conducting site visits, gathering and analyzing evidence and documentation, preparing detailed loss adjustment reports, and maintaining clear communication with insurers, brokers, and insured parties.

The role involves coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, managing claim files from notification to resolution, and ensuring all activities comply with local regulations, policy terms, and ALA’s technical standards. The Loss Adjuster will also contribute to continuous improvement by sharing technical insights, monitoring market developments, and supporting the training of colleagues when needed.
Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in claims handling and claims management, with the ability to manage complex and multi-line claims.
• Experience in insurance and property claims, including knowledge of policy wordings, coverage interpretation, and market practices.
• Proficiency in adjustments and loss quantification, including damage assessment, valuation, and negotiation of settlements.
• Relevant academic background in insurance, engineering, law, finance, or a related field; professional insurance qualifications are an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders and explain technical findings clearly.
• Ability to work independently on-site, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks and cultural contexts; prior experience in the Middle East or emerging markets is beneficial.
