Position Overview
The ENTERTAINER is seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to oversee the legal aspects of our business operations across the GCC with a primary focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This role is based in Qatar but will require expertise in navigating the legal landscape across all GCC countries. The successful candidate will safeguard our reputation by ensuring strict adherence to legal guidelines and providing expert legal advice to management on all relevant issues.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring legal conformity and minimizing exposure to risk across the region.

• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a variety of commercial agreements, contracts and legal documents.
• Provide accurate, commercially sound legal advice to all stakeholders on various issues (including employment laws) and clarify legal language or specifications for the organization.
• Identify, mitigate and manage contractual, legal and commercial risks throughout the contract lifecycle, applying effective risk‑management techniques and offering proactive legal advice.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage and oversee litigation and dispute‑resolution processes, including coordinating with external legal counsel, advising on settlement negotiations and legal strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders and company management to develop effective defense strategies.
• Specify and monitor internal governance policies.
• Stay current on legislative changes and provide legal updates.

• Education:
  
  Bachelors degree in law (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD). A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) is not required but favorable.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 5 years of experience as a qualified legal counsel in a business environment with specific experience in a corporate legal position in KSA.
• Legal Knowledge:
  Strong understanding of relevant laws (including corporate law and procedures).

  Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
